Windows 2012 – hostname change

• In Dashboard choose Local Server and click “Computer name”

 

•  Type “Computer description” and apply change.

•  Click “Change” button, type new computer name(hostname) and approve your new hostname by clicking “OK” button.

•  Click “OK”,next click “Apply” and restart server by clicking “Restart Now” button.
