SNA upgrade from 7.4.2 to 7.5 is fairly easy, it is just few steps.
In my lab I have basic NO DATA STORE SNA(StealthWatch) deployment with 1 Manager(SMC), 1 Flow Collector(FC) and 1 Flow Sensor(FS).
To perform upgrade perform the following steps:
- Verify baseline requirements
- Install the latest patches (recommended)
- start installation based on list, in our scenario 1- FLOW COLLECTOR, 2 – FLOW SENSOR, 3 – Manager
- upload update files for each node and start upgrade process (the same order like in patching)
- upload latest patches for 7.5
- Update SNA applications
- Verify if new SNA 7.5 is working properly.
