Windows 2008 – Telnet

By default telnet client is disabled on W2k8 and W7, to enable it do following steps.

• go to Server Manager-features summary and “Add features”

find “telnet client”, check it and click next 2 times

 

• click “Install”and wait until finish

 

 

• Close Wizard.

Now you are able to use telnet in command prompt.
